Dimsum craving solved!

The thing I missed most about Vancouver was the dimsum restos. In manila, there are very few places where you can really enjoy HK style dimsum. Most of the dimsum places are mediocre at best. We went to our favorite dimsum place only to find out that it was closed for renovation. So we went to Top Gun (Yes, that's the name of the resto) for our brunch meal.

It was great! My favorite dimsum is Sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf and this is the best of all I've tasted. Even their egg tarts was fantastic! Bwhahaha! I ate some liver congee and some hot tea to help with my colds too! Didn't get to take pictures because we were all too hungry!

Bah! I've been sick for a couple of days now, and since my sister in Manila is also sick, something tells me I brought this virus hehehe. So I haven't been eating out a lot or even cooking. Although I did cook menudo the other night, I had to go back and forth the sink and stove to wash my spoon for tasting quite a few times. Plus I had to ask dad to check if the dish was salty enough for him.

We went out on Sunday though, for brunch. I forgot to ask the name of the place, but all i know is that they serve brunch meals that usually come with a noodle dish plus a plate dish. We got 2 breakfast sirloin which came with gravy, egg and bun, and 2 noodle dishes.

We only ordered 2 sets between the 3 of us and we had to take home one full bowl of noodles because it was just too heavy! hehehe!
